He has worked in feature films by Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Deepa Mehta (Midnight's Children) and Uberto Pasolini (Machan) among others, and in over 200 TV commercials to date. He also works as a script writer, casting director and line producer.

Based in Toronto-Ontario, I am a cinematographer and a Steadicam operator. I have worked in numerous shorts, features, documentaries, TV commercials and music videos around the globe. In 2008, I graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts in cinematography. The short film, I too have a name (2012) was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlinale International Film Festival. There is no poetry here (short/2013) was chosen for the competition at Busan IFF and was screened at Cannes Short Film Corner. The feature films; Burning birds (2016) and House of my fathers were both screened in many reputed international film festivals such as Busan, Rotterdam and Locarno. The most recent feature film Ayu (2019) won the best cinematography award at the Around International Film Festival. The Protector directed by Lenin M Sivam, is the 1st hollywood long length film I shot as the director of photography, is now scheduled to premiere in Montreal Quebec Canada- Official Selection Fantasia 2022.
